Tenino Mayor Wayne Fournier for Cityvision

At the firehouse, I’m on a shift rotation, 24 hours on, 48 hours off.

When I’m not doing that, I’m mayoring around the clock.

Playoff Finals

After yesterday’s saddening match for SCC, in which they lost to a goal scored in the first 55 seconds of play, the team was playing even more aggressively and smart. The game was tied at 4-1 Shoreline for most of the game, before Clackamas answered with one goal late in the 2nd half. But they didn’t come back with 3 more goals, and so SCC placed 3rd overall in the NWAACC.

Some shots from the game:

I was actually surprised to not see more emotion on the girls’ faces.

True, they were likely bummed to not have made it to the championship game, but a 3rd place finish is still commendable. I feel honored to have gotten to know them a bit, as I have covered their season.

Thanks for looking everyone.
