I covered the Fremont Solstice Festival and Parade for the SeattlePI.com Saturday. It is an annual event to celebrate the start of Summer. It is known internationally for its opening event featuring painted-body naked bicyclists pedaling the length of the 3/4 mile route through downtown Fremont. Approximately 50,000 people turned out for the parade.
