Day 2 in Vancouver, B.C.
Today was my second day in Vancouver, and tomorrow I will be leaving to return home to Seattle.
I am hanging out this weekend with fellow SportsShooter member Jeremy Johnson, and we got up early to visit Vancouver’s world-famous Stanley Park. Stanley Park is this massive waterfront promenade and forested park — super popular with joggers and wildlife.
Some of that wildlife was a little too close for comfort. Turning around, I found a coyote watching me from a hill not even 20 feet away. A few frames later and he was gone.
We continued walking along the path and the views of Vancouver were amazing. The fogginess hanging over the area like a cloud was a beautiful contrast to the early morning blue hues.
After walking around for a few hours at Stanley Park, we wanted to get some lunch, but another locale along the way called Sunset Beach caught our eye.
It’s not every day that you see a recycling bin with such a clear message…
And one image from yesterday night on the way to drinks.
Vancouver is a great city and a tough one to leave. I only wish I had another day to explore and do more street photography. Hopefully I can return sooner than later.
