Well, that was interesting, to say the least. I headed downtown tonight to cover the tail end of the protests against the Seattle Police Department (SPD) Friday, Feb. 18 in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I just worked to keep my head on a swivel and stay out of the way of cops. It was fairly tense as police formed a barrier, then flipped down riot masks. I am glad things remained peaceful because the last thing that needs to happen is violence.
